Gulp! Nah, it's some other choss that CI and crew have developed. So, it's probably exactly what you Jack, Jay, the Mangler, and crew are up to. If that's hot prison sex, please, let me know so that I can figure out a polite way to decline CI's offer.

There is likely less choss at CI's super secret area than at Jack's not really a secret but no one ever wants to come back and climb because it's too scary and there aren't any easy routes area.

The DTSA is not Auburn. Auburn is pretty rad though. And the DTSA, while quite a chosspile, is not the chossiest cliff I have attempted to put up routes on. Yes, we tried at another place, where the 'rock' was more like used kitty litter. YOu know how it clumps together when pissed on? Yeah, like that. I finally had enough when I grabbed a jug overhead, looked up, and got an eyeful of grit. "AAAAGHGGH!! I can't see!!!!!!!" from below: "Stay with it man, you're on a good jug, blink it out and go!" from me: "Fuck you! Lower! Lower!" The end.

caughtinside wrote: Man, this breaking up posts into mini quoted sections is a lot of work. Think I'm done with it. If you break up long posts into mini quoted sections, you might be a "chossmonkey." It sure is. Especially if you're quoting multiple people. That's like, multiple windows or opening a word doc. I love the complex simplicity of the quote-stack.

caughtinside wrote: You want choss? 'Cause I gots choss! Howler Monkey http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=41607 Killer pull over bulge, no feet. We named it Howler Monkey, because we had just finished bolting it, and this dude hikes up this 100 yard talus slope just to our left, about 30 feet. We saw him, but he didn't see us. Thinking he's alone in the wilderness, and having conquered the slope, he let out a long and primal bellow, that had us totally cracking up. He was a bit sheepish after he noticed we were hanging around. About as sick as .10d gets. That's a good one. It's a better story than if you'd had to name it Howler Spunker or something too.
