Why have no pros ever been to the Niagra Glen. And if they have how come there no documentation on it. There are still some realy hard routes to be put up(V10 and up). This can be a world class location. If it was on the other side of the river(US) it would be. The Glen must be one of the top 10 bouldering crags in North America.

Seems like if you had a famous project that is super hard you could attract some heavy guns. Ben Moon will friqquin' fly over the Atlantic just to snag it from the locals, (think Black Lung, Bang On). You know of any beautiful, sick projects that have stopped all comers? Maybe you could pub these out somehow. [ This Message was edited by: micronut on 2002-11-09 15:12 ]

There is V12 the pheniox put up by Jeremy Smith. and right be side it there is a project (V13 at least) Sonnie Troter said it is the hardest thing he has ever been on. These are both roof problems. Then there a bunch of climbs in the V9-V12 range still to be put up. The Glen has world class bouldering It just hasn't been reconizied. At least there NO crowds (i mean absoulutly none, I been the only climber there on more then one ocasion).

We should be happy that the NG has not got too much attention. I don't think we really need to have hundreds of bolderers running all over.

The Glen has gotten a fair bit of press over the past year. It got a breif article in Rock and Ice and if I recall correctly it always ends up ranking in one of the major magazines top bouldering areas.

I have seen a few known people down in the glen recently, but I agree with Ontario_guide. It's nice to have a great place like the glen that is mainly used by such a tiny community.
