Anyone have a review / opinion on the Anasazi VCS. Considering them, and would like some input from someone currently using them trad, sport, or bouldering. Thanks.......

I would agree with the others that they are a good shoe. However, I do not care for the pair I own too much, but that is my opinion. -john

Check out the Five Ten Galileo. http://www.rockclimbing.com/...mp.cgi?Detailed=2927 I bought them about 2 weeks ago and love them. Checked out the link and I have formulated another question... does the anasazi have the same issues with cracks mentioned "very painful when camming a foot crack" due to the top of the shoe being thin? I was planning a trip this weekend and will bring spare shoes, but one of the routes I was intent on climbing involves a crack. If anyone knows the answer and can spare me the potential pain I would appreciate it, but if not I will answer my own question after my ascent.

Me too! Great shoe if it fits your foot (the new heel is more friendly than the old version).

Would advise against using the Galileos for cracks. Had my pair end up with holes in the uppers after one pitch of 5.9 crack climbing. Otherwise these are great shoes
