You think this forum's short of English people? You want to try looking for Scottish folks!

Not seen any other than myself....

Any of you southern types make it this far north, then make sure that you drop me a line!

I'm American, born and bred, but I lived in the UK for two (of the best) years. The thing I miss most isn't bonfires tho ... as we have a lot of wood stoves in my neighborhood ... it is the Peak District. I have to go back sometime and do Great North Road, Millstone. Not having been able to do it while there is one of my greatest regrets.

I am american but I lived in England, Cambridgeshire, for 7 years. I climbed quite a bit while I was there Wales, Peaks, Lakes, Pembroke, etc with the Bedford Mountaineering Club. I really enjoyed England and look forward to going back.

OK one more out of the woodwork

Just getting back into climbing after an outage of 3 years due to work. The extra pounds around the gut and lack of rock time are really showing at the moment.
