The Ice Arm Cometh Report this Post	Can't Post

So, after all of the build up and waiting, I finally got out some ice. And just like everyone said it was, it was absolutely amazing.

Today was just shy of thirty degrees and cloudy...perfect. The ice on the upper tier was well filled in, and there wasn't another soul around.

Ray went up first, got about halfway up before he sent down some giant chunks of ice. Got why we were wearing helmets and the belay station was back behind some rocks!

Finally, I got my go:

The ice arm worked out great!

WOOT!

The lattes are good too! Bert is a local guide, he is also an avid ice climber. If you stop in the Cafe again ask for Bert and I'm sure he'd love to talk to you about climbing in the notch.
