http://www.lex18.com/...7748675&nav=EQlp Investigators found themselves working a murder mystery Sunday after the body of a Mount Sterling man was found on the side of the road. Now police want to know who pulled the trigger and why. Investigators tell LEX 18 News a group of hikers from Indiana left their campsite at the Red River Gorge to get some supplies, when they found a body on the side of the road just off the Mountain Parkway on Kentucky 15. Police say the victim, 22 year old Michael Flora of Mount Sterling had been shot. Upon further investigation Kentucky State Police Trooper Ralph Lockhard said it's a clear case of murder. "There's evidence to support that the incident occurred right where we found the body," said Lockhard. As police try to figure out who killed Flora, many folks who work and visit this part of the Red River Gorge are simply stunned. "You don't ever have this in the gorge. People in the gorge don't act like this. You just don't find stuff like this around here," said Frank Morris. The Powell County Coroner believes Flora's body had not been on the scene any longer than overnight. The remains since have been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy.
