Thinking about a trip to Potrero Chico in October but I saw that it is a high precipitation month (60mm rain). My question is: Does it rain a lot a few days or is it just always grey with constant light rain most days? Thanks!

October is awesome here. We get most of our rain in September--like right now. If it does rain it should be light and the rock here dries rapidly so you will be able to climb thousands of glorious feet very day.
