Making a road trip to j-tree for a couple of days right after x-mas with some friends. What are the crowds like then? Anyone have any tips as to a good place to camp?

I don't know about Christmas, but the last two Thanksgivings have been a zoo. Good luck getting a site at Hidden.

good luck getting a site anywhere in Jtree
park at any back country board, fill out back country permit, hike 500 yds minimum(i think) from the road.
DO NOT MAKE FIRE!!

(20 other sites have already been reserved! )
