I want to pick up some films pretty soon and start a small library for myself What are some of your favorite (lets say top 3) videos either specifically about bouldering or that include a substantial amount of bouldering content? Include why you like the videos, is it the problem specifically? the dynamic movement and body placements? feature your favorite boulderer? amazing post-production? Not asking for favorite free online videos, but offer them up anyway!

Rampage is classic.. not as clean and stacked with stuff like the new Doses but you can probably find it pretty cheap somewhere Dose 3 and 4 with the Swiss and Arkansas stuff is sweet. the box set would be sweet.

Favorites: Frequent Flyers Dosage IV Dosage III Dark horse: The Professionals (not bouldering specific, but a really cool storyline - wait, storyline in a climbing vid? yep).

DenverBouldering wrote: Free Hueco King Lines The Life Colorado Daydream While I agree king lines is a great film, the bouldering is scare and they don't show anything with any kind of technical difficulty (besides maybe the one highball with ethan pringle).

dosage IV & V-mostly a mix of sport and bouldering- a little bit of trad but not tons. some of the bouldering is really great in it. both of them are really great all-around videos FREE HUECO- IMHO the best bouldering video around. follows a bunch of climbers spending a few months living at hueco tanks and just bouldering and living the good life. definitely a must-see. it has a lot of people in it who would later go on to become pro climbers. frequent flyers- another bouldering specific movie which has people climbing in some very exotic(and some very plain/normal) locations.

Dosage had to be my favorite to this day. I remember director rob frost showed a free climbing video at a local college, and it had footage of Dave Graham climbing in Rumney before he was big. Don't remember the name of it but I thought it was pretty good.

its been awhile since ive watched any vids, usually only watched them when i was giving my hands a break at the gym. i borrowed king lines from a friend last week and have watched it twice. kindof slow at the beginning if you ask me but picks up really well. the bonus footage in the extras is 15 minutes of awesomeness.
