i wonder what happens to those skis after they are ejected?

just fall and left as trash?

collected? (but how do they find them?....)


does look "cool" in that cool-for-other-people-to-try....never really had the urge myself, though...

That's truly amazing. It's only at the end of the video, when they are filming the jumpers flying past the road (in real time) that you can tell just how fast they are really moving.

It seems like it would be a pretty big effort just to get to where they drop let alone actually find them.

Actually, there is tiny village at the base of the cliff who's entire economy is based on selling the skis back the jumpers when they come looking for them. That may not sound fair, but is it fair to come walking out of your little house and have a ski whack you right between the eyes?
