I'm in ouray for another week. I though you were too sick to climb. Routes are longer in the Ghost! You can climb 500+m of ice in some of the rambleing canyons, or 30m steep horror fests, or shot mixed routes, long mixed routes, in-your-face classics like Sorrcerer or Hydrophobia, or less in your face classics like Wicked Wanda, Malignant Mushroom and Anerexia Nervosa... to name a few things the Ghost has over Ouray.

There's longer stuff around, though I doubt if it tops the ghost. I'm watching the cascade melt as I type, though

Clausti, I bet you miss Clemson or even wv. about now. missedyno, maybe you better get a sun lamp. I went bouldering/ scrambling at a place near the nc. va. border in nc. today. It was a good half hour walk in cause I took a side trail and 22 minute walk out plus I met a guy who I had met somewhere else two days ago and he gave me the nickle tour which was another half hour walking around. The knees handled all the walking ok. When I got home my brother was putting the chicken in the rotiessery. I had a beer with him then showered and drank another beer and dinner was done. Almost half a chicken, parsley redskin potatoes, steamed broccli, and carrots all washed down with qanother cold beer. I may not be long out of bed. Aaahhhh life is good.

Turn left, look north to Michigan, all the way up to Traverse City (just shy of the UP), and consider that yesterday it WARMED UP to 0 degrees for the first time all week. Sod. This.

Throw a cup of boiling water into the air on a zero degree day and the water turns to steam before it ever hits the ground. It was fun and awesome...
