I have a doctor's appointment a hour away on Monday morning. My boss is asking me if I could do afternoon shift next week since I'd already be gone half the day on Monday. For fuck sake! Let me go back to my regular schedule! I'm driving to the New for the Rendezvous Thusday regardless and I told I have to work day shift that day. Let's hope he doesn't decide to stick me on afternoon shift for three days just for the heck of it. So I'll call him when I get up around mid-day. We'll see what he says. 3 more hours till my work week is done! Then I get to spend the weekend trying to swap my sleep schedule around (there will be some climbing in there too though).

I`m fixing my car, if all goes well and no rain I could be out on Sunday or I will be buying a better mattress for my bedroom and making a current one fit my car, I guess we will see. I got to go, got to be at the shop around 10:30ish. V.

kid's off to school, and i'm enjoying my coffee. today it's off to the hardware show for some pruning shears and a new shovel. very exciting really!!!!!! mother's day on sunday, don't forget the moms in your life. sadly, this year my mom is in a home. After trying for months to take care of her at home, my dad made the decision to put my mom in an extended care home. It's for the best, but pretty sad for the both of them.

Morning, all. Finished up with the client in Lubbock a fair bit early yesterday, so decided to make the drive home yesterday afternoon/evening, rather than spend another night in the hotel and do it today. Got home around midnight, and slept the sleep of the just. Didn't get into the office until damn near 9am today. Felt GREAT! I'll have some coffee, and hopefully a short day at work. Plans in the works for Kelso Ridge tomorrow, if the weather holds.

My boss came in early this morning so I got to chat with him on my way out. Thank gawd, he decided it wasn't worth having me come in on afternoon shift for 3 days only. *yawn* just got up. Slept for longer than I want, I'm trying to deprive myself this morning to get back to a day shift sleep schedule. I'm off to a local horticultural sale in an hour or so!

Well, the nearest climbing to us here in San Angelo is E-rock... about 3 hours East. I'd like to check out Witchita's one day though.... about five hours NNE. Would be good to meet up with people there. If you do drop into TX though and want to climb at E-rock we can probably organize somethin'. I just ordered a guide to climbing in Arizona.... I'd love to check out Cohise and hit Hueco on the way.

I might see what they're up to towards the end of the year... things are warming up too much now.
