I have never climbed at P-way. I want to go with my 6yo daughter who can climb pretty well. I need to know where to go so I walk up and top rope and rap down since she can't belay me. It needs to be not to hard as she's just 6yo too. Any suggestions? Thanks

GREAT PLACE for kids! My little ones are have been climbing here for the last couple of years. They are now 6 and 8, there is plenty to keep them happy for a long time. For directions, go to the campground registration and they can give you directions out to the Boulder Field. It is approx. a two mile hike in. As you approach the boulder field, continue up the road and you will see the Lower Slab to your left (you have to look for the sign, it is ez to walk right past). This is a great place for kids, safe, EZ access to set up ropes, (up the left side of the slab). Don't hesitate to take your daughter here, just bring A LOT of bug spray.
