Hey all! I found a great set of boulders near willits, CA. I travel out this way twice a year for outdoor music events, and would love to make climbing on this boulder part of my ritual. It does need some attention though. It needs poison oak removal, hold brushing (totally virgin), and some smaller rocks moved on one of the faces. Here is the link to the area, with directions and everything: http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/listArea.php?AreaID=10420 Hope some willits climbers will take some time to clean it up for all of us. (yes this is a refrence to WoW for those that are into it.) cheers! -e-

DO you have GPS coordinates or directions? I'm heading up there this weekend and would love to check it out.

I'm not a boulderer (is that even a word?) cuz I thought I would suck at it but if that is a V4 then maybe I should start!

Yeah, well... the coordinates helps to let me know where it is, and helps others to find it. In case you are wondering, it's at: N 39° 27.510, W 123° 12.583 ;) The tall face has some fairly nice features, but since it's all sedimentary shale-like rock, it's really not worth climbing because the face flakes apart very easily.
