Metolius Simulator vs Wood Deluxe??

I'm in the market for a hangboard and was wondering if anyone has a preference between the Simulator and the Wood Deluxe from Metolius. Does the softness of the wooden board make a big difference in the amount of time you can train on it? The Simulator seems to have more options but the Wood may make up for that in increased training volume. Thanks.

wood feels way better. I just got a beastmaker 2000 which is a wooden board and it is really surprising how much better the wood feels than the plastic/resin stuff.

How did you get the Beastmaster 2000?

Is it available in the US? It looks sick!

it is sick. if you go to their website there's an email link under the buy page. just email them there and if they have any in stock they'll give you the info. they're not like metolious or whatever so sometimes it takes a while to get one. costs quite a bit to get it to the US though, but it can be done. their training routine is pretty amazing too. and it's nice to know the person who made it is pretty dang strong himself.

I'm hopeful a member of the Committee will be able to make an announcement in the coming weeks about registration pricing for this event.

Yes it is available in US, Learn how credit cards work, how you can get rid of that high interest balance.
