You reported on Wild Things Gear last year and how the new owners were making some changes to the product line. I haven't hear anything since despite dropping in on the shop several times a month. Would love to hear if you have any more success. Appreciate everything you do, thanks alot.

Sweet. Don't worry about Wild Things. Stopped in the store on one of our many rainy days up here and they said they wouldn't have anything new done by the date of the show. Looking forward to the reports.

I was happier before I knew it was coming up. Now I've been sitting around thinking about how much more entertainment I'll have in another two weeks. At least beforehand I was content with boredom, now I'm just antsy.

The article mentions the European Outdoor Trade Fair, but not Vegas. But heck yeah, if DMM's there, ask them about it. And I'm glad to see you haven't lost sleep over The Professor's lame-ass comments. I always look forward to reading your reports.

yeah, i just saw those as well- i've got an appointment with Paul @ Dmm on the first day, so i would expect to see shiny pictures and more info on them on Wednesday the 22nd! (ps- the show is in SLC, not Vegas, although i wish it were here, as i could basically go for free rather than having to absorb the cost of the trip!)

Is anyone else from the site going to be at the show (besides VTG and myself?). Let's go climb.

Dude, I heard that metolious was bringing out a SICK new hat - they claim it may boost your bouldering grade by a full number in good conditions. Any way you could bring the bouldering world the lowdown on this hot new item?

Yeah, I was planning so hard on going back there that I ended up running out of time. Like when you live somewhere and never see the museum up the road cuz you know you'll be there eventually. So, yeah, I shall be there again. Dunno when though.

One more day to go now, and I'm giddy with anticipation. Also, just wanted to say that VTG's coverage of the shows is a great service to us here at RC.com, and one of my primary sources of info for the show, so keep up the good work VTG, many of us really appreciate it! ETA: Also, I think I've had a perma gear-boner ever since seeing that tasty cam porn out of DMM, so any more pics or info would be awesome!

Ask them if they'll just go ahead and please make an alien copy too. That would be a gear wet dream come true.

Oh, and I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY want DMM and Wild Country to take one of the better wiregate biners (ideally the Shield and the Helium, but I know that's asking too much) and produce them in a range of colours to match the colours of their cams, thus making racking a bit easier. Like what Black Diamond did with their Neutrinos. Hang on . . . Hasn't Wild Country already done this???
