Well, if I told you, it wouldn't be "unknown" anymore and tons of climbers would start showing up which would mean that area would get damaged too. Nope, not telling. I go there often and there is never any other climbers there because they all think it is illegal. I'm not spreadin' the word, but I can tell you this:
It has higher bluffs than our main crag and it is somewhere in Wisconsin.

Nice try but not nice enough. You could have at least offered token gifts for such information. If any of us really do have a secret crag and posted it here it wouldn’t be a secret anymore would it? Enough said.

my favourite crag is my favourite because no one else know about it. Not that I don't like other people but there is something to be said about not having to worry about waiting in line for a route!

I have several great crags with beautifully cracks in different locals depending on the time of year for the ideal temps. Most of then have a lot of FA’s that still need to be done. Take the road to the pull off, jump the fence, hike to the tree, rap and you are their or just hike to the others from the other pull off. Happy hunting. Also Escalante Canyon has a lot of great stuff, some know and others do not, tho there is rumor of a book for it soon.

o.k. time for a little clarification:
i'm not hoping or suggesting that we all roll out directions to our super secret crags so that the masses can descend and desecrate.
rather, i'm looking for suggestions for all of those of us lucky enough to be able to roadtrip. just about everywhere i've been there has been one or two areas that the locals are glad to share, but that have not yet seen the media fanfare that other surrounding areas have. this is what i'm looking for. as often as guidebooks are released and updated, they still become out of date and somewhat obsolete as other areas are developed. this site is a great way to spread the word on these little known or newly developed areas.

My favorite secret crag is one that I first glimsed through a gap in some trees from the road on the other side of the valley. It took me three tries to find my way to it, 2 hours + of bush bashing each time for no result, til finally I got there one day only to find bolts. Damn!I was pretty gutted til I walked around the corner and discovered the crag went a further 400m into the forest. The bit I had seen from the road was only the first 20m. Devlopment first started in 2000 so I only missed out by a couple of years . Theres about 40 bolted routes on it with room for a few more. I managed to track down one of the guys who devloped it and he ran me off a guide for it from his computer. Nice guy!
I've been there a few times and never seen anyone there. Despite the devlopers making no patacular secret of it, not many people know of it and even less can find it. The cool thing is that it's so close to town that I can see it from the deck of my house and y'all welcome to climb there with me any time.

The only reason alot of stuff in my area is unknown is because people dont go looking for it.. its all over the place, ya just gotta look
Anyway there si a climb that is 4 pitches and each pitch is completly diff.. it starts off with slab then a taverse then you go up with this crimpy stuff for the third pitch, and the fouth pitch is all friction and balancy, we named it OZ because of the variation
