I've just moved to the Chicago area and I'm looking for a climbing gym where i can boulder lead and top rope, and get to know some climbers to organize some outdoor trips and events. If anyone has any info on where I should start or places I should check out let me know. Thanks!

I'm in the way north burbs, but... The closest to you that I know is decent is Hidden peak. Good bouldering: http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/North_America/United_States/Illinois/Chicago_and_Suburbs/Hidden_Peak/ Welcome to midwestern climbing.
