I am looking for a way to keep all my gear for climbing, MTB'n, camping, hiking and other sports organized and ready to go. Does anyone else use one of these two organizing bag systems?
here is a links to both
http://www.kelty.com/...spx?SearchTerm=binto
http://www.mountainsmith.com/...amp;subCategory2Id=0

Thanks for the help as i have heard good and bad reviews on both.

I use big, cheap duffels from Target, as well as big plastic bins (maybe from Target, maybe from HoDe, who knows I've got a lot of them).

The problem with the modular haulers, at least for me, is that they're really too small to be useful. My mountain biking and ultralight backpacking kits would fit, but they're already stored in their own respective packs. Rock climbing, ice climbing, backpacking, car camping, kayaking, snowboarding... all the specific sport related gear wouldn't fit in a modular hauler, they're all stored in their own big duffels or plastic bins. They get repacked into heavy duty travel duffels since I don't really trust the cheaper duffels.

And anyway, I enjoy the organizing and repacking before the trip, helps get me psyched. When I do the "grab 'n' go", there's inevitably something I've left behind, having needed it for something else.

Yeah i already use big rubbermaid roughneck containers for my crap but living in a small condo doesn't leave any room for them in my unit and there have been a lot of break-ins of others storage units in my building lately.
I tried to find smaller plastic containers to keep my stuff organized but couldn't find a size that works yet. Even my local Wal-mart up here doesn't have shit all for medium sized containers. I may have to use your idea with the cheap duffel bags.
Maybe what i really need is to buy another 40L or larger backpack to be ready to go at all times.
Thanks for all the ideas everyone.

One conceptual problem I've run into is how to file the equipment that overlaps. If I put it in it's own separate bin...but the overlap is different for different sports. I can buy doubles of water bottles, but some other things...nope.
