"Overhand with a bight and tail", very similar to a "Frost Knot", just done with cordage rather than webbing. Often used when making a Purcell Prusik.

I don't know if there's a proper name for it...kind of like music I can know the whole song, but not know the name sometimes. At any rate, here's some bigger pictures of it, if there is a proper name for it, may be this will help. Pretty simple to tie, best dressed having the tails on the outside to start, and finishing with them in the inside, see pics: Start:

I would name it "Chad," or maybe "Veronica" if it's a girl... Otherwise, I believe the above post is correct.
