ive got a great deep water solo spot. its an old lime stone coury that flooded and has so many cool routes. if ur ever in wisconsin go to racine wisconsin and look for the swimming coury on the north side its great if you like that sort of thing.

I think i found it on the satilite map. Is it the pond between the two quarries? It looks like it has some rock on the edges. How high are the cliffs? Rock quality?

no i found it 2 years ago in the summer. no its right by the root river off of northwestern ave. and the rock is limestone. it was crumbly in some spots, but thats just little rocks here and there but thats been taken care of by belaying down the cliffs and sweeping away lose rock and sticks. the cliffs ranges in height from 25 all the way to 50 feet. the water is 90 feet deep( i verified this by using a depth gauge aka a rock tied to a 100 ft long rope) so its safe to fall. hope this helps.

it has a beach on the shore. its right by the racine country club if you go on google maps and click satelite on the map then zoom in and look for the racine country club and it will be just to the north if you look hard enough youll find it. it kinda looks like an oversized pond

What's the rock quality like? How will the access be once the ice has melted --- is there a boat launch, or will you have to rappel/swim to the cliffs?

Most of the rock is very sturdy, there are some crumbling areas but there mostly grouped together and can avoid them. Its alot of crimps and pockets. Theres a trail from the back you can take to either walk down a slope or cliff jump off of some open areas. The waters very deep close to the wall.
