Hi,

I've been looking for a book specifically on setting up top rope anchors. I have looked into many different climbing books on the topic such as Freedom from the Hills but it didn't have as in depth instructions as i hoped. If you have any recommendations I would appreciate them.

*I know a book won't replace having someone show me hands on or taking a class but it will definitely get me started.

You could try the AMGA website. http://hireaguide.amga.com/ You can select a level of certification and it provides the list of all certified guides registered with the AMGA for an online listing, organized by location.
