Are there enough bolted lines to entertain someone for a day or do I need to bring gear for mixed/trad?

There is a lot more trad/mixed than purely sport. Look at topos and decide for yourself. The library has the most sport climbs.

I had a rack there and I was glad I did. Otherwise you can set up TR's on several climbs. (You will need gear for that too). I don't remember and abundance of bolts...Perhaps my memory is failing...

Aren't Shickshinny and Mocanaqua two different areas? They are on two different sides of the river, and there is rock on both sides. That said, Mocanaqua has the most sport climbing (Library, Paradise, and Main wall each have a handfull of sport routes), but the OP is asking about the Shickshinny side... I think?

Yes, I see that, but do you see where it says "Do I need a rack for Shickshinny, PA"? Shickshinny has rock too, but is on the opposite side of the river than Mocanaqua. None of the rock in Shickshinny is listed on this site yet, as far as I can see.

Then it looks like you answered your own question. So I wouldn’t worry about it too much there Joey.
