I'm heading over to the Bishop area in early April and was wondering if there is any top roping at Owens River Gorge. I'd love to sport lead, but my girlfriend doesn't lead climb, so that's pretty much out. If there's nothing at Owens can you recommend other places for top roping around Bishop, preferably in the 5.10's and lower. Thanks!

There is no top roping at owens. All routes have to be led first.

So why can't you lead? Can your gf belay? Why don't you lead the routes, and your gf can do laps on toprope?
