Ouch. Man gets his "junk" caught while zip-lining. Not quite climbing related but I wonder how this happened when he was hanging in a harness. "They said he had remained "stoic" despite being in quite a lot of pain." http://www.heraldsun.com.au/...frf7lf-1225854591077

Don't know how this relates to climbing or even zip-lining. The photo in the article is irrelevent. Its a childrens play device and he was probably riding on top of it sitting on the device carrier with the wheel.

My 'junk' has acceded into my abdomen after reading that article. I'll keep you all posted as to when it decides to come back out and play. I'm hoping it happens soon though, I drank a good deal of Diet Mt. Dew this morning (don't like coffee).

Cable strung between two towers with a shuttle going back and forth. Suspended from the shuttle, by a chain, is a round plastic disc with the chain going through the middle of the disc. You sit on the disc, with the chain between your legs, and swing across the cable. As they article says they had to dismantle the seat, which means the guy was probably using it as designed, just got his junk caught in the chain or between the chain and the plastic. Just a dumb playground accident, nothing to do with climbing or ziplining.

I'm not sure which is worse... getting your junk caught in the wheels of progress like this, or dragging yer junk along the ground like what happened to me last time out. DMT
