we're coming from pittsburgh, and we've never been.

a few questions:

we might have one or two crag dogs, a mastiff, and a lab. would they be welcome camping at Miguel’s?

if the dogs wouldn't be welcome, what would be the best option?

what is the deal with alcohol?

forgive me if these questions have already been asked before, but i'm talking with 2 of our crew (there might be 5 of us total going down) and they wanted me to post and ask.

any help and info would be awesome.

you can buy a camping pass at the gass station pullout off the highway and camp anywhere in the forest. Its like 5 bucks or so for a 3 day 2 night pass...

Dogs are welcome at Miguel's - just leash 'em or keep 'em under control and clean up after them.

Dry county but you can bring your own alcohol and buy more 7 miles down the road at the beer trailer. Just PLEASE keep it in the back, not out front or in the parking lot.

thanks. We thought about the forest camping, but at this point, we are kind of set on miguel's because we wanted to check out the community. Dogs are still up in the air, because we have limited space and a 6 hour drive.

We're going to be looking for some 5.8 to 5.10 sport and toprope routes. Any suggestions for us newbies?
