Recently relocated to the Charlotte area and have been to Crowders Mountain recently. Through my job pro deals and desire to climb, I have acquired 60m rope, 10 quickdraws, 2 locking biners, ATC, 1" webbing, shoes and harness. I have done a vast amount of research pertaining to climbing in general and have been a gym rat for the past couple years. I am desperate to get out there but know I need experienced advice.

If there is anyone willing to spend a day at Crowders climbing and actively teaching a determined rookie, I would greatly appreciate it. I am comfortable with belaying, climbing, knots, rappelling, and willing to listen. You pick time and day.

Anticipating bold responses, just looking to learn.....

I've been lazy for the past few weeks and am trying to get out and climb more now. Let me know when and I can meet you there.

Guys, I really appreciate your willingness to climb as well as confirm my fundamental climbing practices. I have such a big desire to expand my knowledge in advanced climbing techniques and would love to spend a day climbing with you guys. I'm tired of spending all my time in the climbing gyms.

I am extremely flexible regarding a day to climb because I am in transition between a job and graduate school. No real commitments. However, I am traveling this week into the weekend? Do any days between Aug. 23-29 work for either of you? Thanks again for responding.

Kyle

Unless something happens between now and then, I am available to climb any or all of those days.

I plan on getting out there next week as soon as I get a free day. I will do my best to give you both a early notice on what days could work for me. I hope to make it conducive to your schedule since you are helping me out.

Chris, if all else fails, I will make it out there on the 28th.

Again, I appreciate your willingness in creating a confident climber.

Hey guys, I am free for the weekend and was hoping someone would want to get some climbing in. If anytime over the next couple days is available for you to get out to Crowders, please let me know. I'm hoping to get out there.

If your able to climb this weekend (Saturday or Sunday) let me know ASAP.

Hey guys,

I'm in Greenville, new to climbing rock, would love to join anyone to learn how to climb and can always belay anyone.
Just summitted Mt Rainier a couple weeks ago and looking to learn rock and ice climbing to tackle bigger mountains.

Anyone need someone to belay them and teach a noobie?

thx,

ken
