the film Soul Cal has some boulders rated with a suffix of xxx. what does that mean? I assume it has something to do with the fact that those particular problems are really tall...

saint_john wrote: the film Soul Cal has some boulders rated with a suffix of xxx. what does that mean? I assume it has something to do with the fact that those particular problems are really tall... Well, you likely know that an X means that fall potential exists in some of the moves that "make the grade." You may not realize that a second X means that any spotters you had spotting you earlier on will also perish. The third X means that any photographers or videographers present will also meet their doom. Although, I haven't seen any of the footage your speaking of, and I have never before heard of V3xxx, just like you. You may, therefore, want to take my answer with a grain of salt.
