Hello. My name is Nicole and I just recently moved back to the East Coast area. Ive climbed out west for awhile and just recently heard that everyone goes down to the Red for climbing. I don't have a partner and would love to find one so I can go climb!

I usually top-rope and haven't led a climb, yet. I'm typically climbing at a 5.9-5.10 and bouldering I'm a V0-V1-V2, neither consistently.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to maybe go to the Red around April 10th. I'll be flying over from the UK. Looking to find camping / climbing partners too. Let me know how it goes, and if you'll still be around in mid april.

Cheers,
Paul

Hey Nicole, I am also looking for a partner. I have never climbed the gorge, but have done several trips out West. Skill level is around the same I prefer top roping but am willing to learn to lead trad or sport. I am from the central Indiana, and plan to get out as soon as the weather permits.

we have a small group in the louisville area (about 6 of us, but only 2 or 3 go at one given time). We typically climb in the same grades as you (both sport and trad) but occasionally venture higher. We typically do day trips on mondays twice a month and take weekend trips in late january, may, and october. msg me if you want more details.

depending on your actual locale, the red might be one of your best options within weekend driving distance or so, but if you are south of there by an hour or more you have so much climbing at the ready you'll be pretty impressed, i promise.
