Hi all, I´m currently in Pucon, Chile, leaving at the weekend. I´m planning on heading down to Puerto Varas on Sunday, so climbing in Cochamo is on the cards. I only have harness, shoes, belay plate etc. so would have to rent ropes and a rack. I lead 5.10ish.

How long do plan on being in Cochamo for? I´ll be heading there end of March or beginning of April.

Going back into the valley tomorrow for a couple of weeks. I´ll be gone by the time you arrive though.
It´s starting to get cold so bring some warm clothes! I will be back next summer around December time. Maybe I´ll catch you then if you´re still in the area?

Was it easy to find climbing partners out there? I´m thinking of doing the hike over the border from Bariloche. If I don´t get to climb at least the views are supposed to be good.
