Monaco was thin and stout up at the top. I'm up for the park propper, as the only thing I want to tick in Indian Cove is Lascivious Conduct... It kicked my ass last time. I'll tick that on Friday.

Hey, if I show up early Saturday morning, what time would you suggest I arrive? What time would you be heading out to start climbing? Please e-mail me at laacoustics@yahoo.com. -Cliff

Art, I read that article earlier today. I can't tell if they are for real or not. As far as I know that Eagle Mountain dump idea was put to rest a few years ago. Also, I have never heard of someone building "a new city" anywhere near the Park. Do you have any further details about these supposed threats to JT? Curt

Static- I'm telling the truth, you know Ride is a stoner, just in case someone else doesn't want to belayed by him. Just check out his posts on the subject. Sure people lead stoned and belay that way,but full clarity isn't there. Good Luck . See you all at the gathering.Peace out.(for you micronut) and rradam looks like a great lead above.

Got a call from David Craft one of the rangers up at Indian cove today and he said that he put all our sites togheter and as close as he could to site the group site and that they'll assign sites when we get up there but that we can change them around amongst ourselves however we want due to some sites fitting bigger tents and such, and that he dosent care how we end up doing it. The sites are going to marked off in case we get there when noone is on duty at the front. the site numbers are 40,41,42,43,45. the people he said on the phone to tell were (in username): Coreyr Cloudbreak Swohletz climbingcowboy-me and i couldnt understand the last name something like Burlingain or something once again the rangers were colol enough to go outta there way to call and let us know to make it easier on us. his #760-362-4367 Geoff

hey, I made a resevation for my site but I wasnt sure about where everybody was gonna be so I didnt request to be put at a certain spot, should I leave it be and just get assigned a site when I get there? or should I call the rangers and ask to be put close to a certain site? 41, 42 , 43? group site 10? lemme know what I gotta do so I dont have to walk a mile to get to the gathering.. of course I dont know how big indian cove is so maybe I have to walk 3 miles *shrug* what should I do?

It can be far, but I'm sure the rangers will shuffel you around once you get there. On new Year's I had the absoultly farthest spot from the group sites. Needless to say I drove to the campfire everynight, and hitched a ride on New Year's eve. But If your far you can drive back and forth. -Zac
