OK, so you go to my photo albums, and pull out the list. You hit the "go to page 2" button, and you're booted out to the front page! This is unacceptable! How the heck do we get to see people's photos beyond page 1?! The only way I have found is to do a word search, but that's only of benefit if I happen to know what I'm looking for. It does nobody any good who wants to look at anyone else's photos. PLEASE FIX THIS!! Many of us have more than one page of photos. Without this link working, you have a whole ton of useless photos sitting on the website. This has been a problem for quite some time. Cheers, Pete

I looked at your pics, and every page seems to be working fine. Maybe it only affects the owner, or something.

It seems that I am the one who should be fixing this. I was unable to recreate your problems .. ie Your photos worked for me .. and my photos wored for my aswell (I have more than one page also, and I had no problems getting to the next page) I don't quite Inderstand what you mean by this: so you go to my photo albums, and pull out the list could you elaborate on that? I am going to go throught the photo code to solve a couple other problems soon, I will add this bug to the list of things to look for, but it would be very handy if I could see the effects of the bug myself.

OK, thanks for answering. Please go here to my photos: http://www.rockclimbing.com/photos.php?ArchiveID=ALL&Photographer=passthepitonspete At the top right corner you see "View page:" and then there is a dropdown box. If I change the dropdown box to 2, or 3, or whatever, and click on either the dropdown box itself, or click on the little "next" box, I do not go to my next page of photos. I am booted out to the front page of RC.com. This is not a problem with jerrygarcia's photos appear on one page, but if I go to biff's photos, the same thing happens when I try to access page 2. Ha. OK, this is a Netscape problem. It works fine on Explorer. I just checked for the first time. Funny, eh? For the record, I cannot edit photos on Netscape, I can only do so on Explorer. Well, there's your bug. I could live with it, I'd just have to use Explorer when looking at photos, I reckon.

I was suspecting a problem with browser compatibility. What version of netscape is giving you problems? .. also can you vote on photos with your netscape browser? It seems that there are some users who can't vote on photos .. and they really should be able to (ie they have been here for years, and have photos of their own here aswell)

Definitely a problem with the browser incompatibility, as everything works fine with Explorer. I can vote with my Netscape, no problems. It's just that *my* version of Netscape doesn't let me see photo pages beyond one. To me, this isn't so much a critical problem. However if you tell me how to find out what version I have, I'll tell you. More pressing is how the heck I am supposed to edit an article enough times to get it right before I am booted out! WILL SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER MY POST BELOW?? Cheers, Pete

The easy solution ("the better way") would be to type it into Notepad, or your text editor of choice, and submit in two seconds or less.

http://www.rockclimbing.com/info.php this will tell you the browser you're using (or at least, what it shows up as on our end), the IP address you're coming from, and a lot else. Do a Ctrl-F for "user-agent"... actually, screw it, just go to http://www.rockclimbing.com/useragent.php It will echo back what browser you're using.
