How many of you out there support what this and other groups are doing? How many of you have actually joined or donated to support these groups? I've been climbing for a while now, and I've always thought to myself, "I should support these groups financially that I benefit from," but never have. Well, I'm going to go and join access fund. If enough people joined they would have much more power to keep those places special to our hearts open to us. So... How many of you have joined, plan to join someday but lazily put it off, or never plan to join? Josh

I am a member and have even had the pleasure of working with Access Fund. As a climber, you really owe it to yourself to join. Access is one of the issues that by the time it effects you, it may already be too late. The precedents set by the AF in other cases will benefit your area or at least help access remain open in the event of access concerns.

Seems like anyone who climbs outdoors should think about supporting the access fund. I gave 'em $50 this year and received an XL T-shirt. I think I got a keychain carabiner last year...

Long time member of the Access Fund, and I can't understand how anyone can love climbing and not support them financially. You may not agree with every position they take, but they are our best defense against losing access to our favorite areas.

this thread was my final reminder to join the Access Fund - i've now done what i've been "meaning to" for about a year now. good on ya, bandycoot et al, i surely would have "meant to" for a little while longer if this hadn't come up...
