Do any of you guys use any lube on your cams. I bought the metolius stuff but never got around to using it. Is it really that necessary, or should i just wait till some major squeeks develope

Ive had some forged friends since 1992, never heard a squeak out of any of them. They still trigger like new and have gotten plenty of use.

Yup, the more you use your cams, the more crap and gunk they will accumulate. You can certainly buy the Metolius stuff, but I prefer White Lightning. You can get it at any decent Bike Shop. Don't use WD40 or stuff like it. Especialy anything Oil based. You'll regret it!

I bought the Metolius cam cleaner/lube set...highly overrated in my opinion. A bit of white gas to clean and some White Lightning, or Boshield works better. The Metolius stuff is expensive, and for me didn't last long enough to be worth it.
