Smoke - yes. Unfortunately I started back up after 5 years of not smoking.
Drink - no, unless you count O'Douls as an alcoholic beverage. But the taste of a cold one (even a NA) sure is good after a day of climbing.

I smoke some, I'll take that 'stupid' in N.America these days (maybe should move to indonesia or the mediteranean!)
(doesn't seem to make me impotent anyhow...)
Quit drinking and smoking pot et al a couple of years ago...I definitely consumed enough for the rest of my life before I was thirty...
Climbing is enough of a drug for me :twisted:
I'll probably quit smoking tho...
Maybe when I'm starting up into 12-13+....

I rarely drink alcohol, I have never smoked cigarettes habitually, and I have never smoked marijuana at all.

I used to smoke 2 or 3 packs a day, depending on how long my night was... I quit smoking 6 years ago. It almost killed me. "Spontaneus pneumothorax" the doctor said... My left lung was the victim. That's what i call PAIN.
For the drinking, I always eat my lunch with a beer, and very rarely I get drunk with JackDaniel's or J.Walker. Never when climbing...

Quit smoking just before I started climbing... I couldn't afford both. :) Haven't had a cigarette since I started climbing, yay!
I like to knock back a few every now and then. I'm a dark beer girl. Never before climbing, though... I know two people who had ankle surgery from falling off problems while inebriated.

Just wondering, not that I take any issue with someone burning a "J" or roasting a bowl AFTER climbing or WELL before, but haven't you all seen the commercial where the kid takes the razor blade and slits open three Marlboro's and wraps them up into a paper like a big old fat dubb. The point being is that one small "J" contains as much cancer causing elements as one cigg. But hey I do both so no room to talk here I guess. :twisted:
