One doesn't see any listing for any of the excellent routes in this oft ignored little gully east of the Fin. Anyway, A new route to the left of the Altered States Slab goes up an arete and is called BETTY'S ALTERED ELBOW I, 5.8 fun!
I will try to get up there soon and replace all the belay tat with beefy chains! Likie at every rappel up there!
Also, only one rope is now needed to rappel the Altered States slab. If one does that route or ROMANCE ON THE ROCK or COLD BLUE STEEL, their is a discreet two-bolt rappel station 30m down so you don't have to lug up a second rope anymore up that gully in the heat!
