It's also clear from a close reading of the article that the reporter pulled the most inflamitory quote from what was a more than cursory interview.
Learned a long time ago, "Don't make judgements about anything/anyone from what you read in the papers".

Its a damn shame. Thats what it is. The guy sounded like a real nice fella, I'll bet his passing leaves a hole in some peoples hearts.
I never thought of a wire killing me while buildering....damn....

I will have to agree with the Grey Tradster - you can't judge from what you read or hear in the media. They are telling a story. This one, very tragic, but still - a story.
I'm an airline pilot and I see exactly how WRONG they get most of the details when an airplane crashes. The incorrect information that is distributed in the rush to make it "the lead" is truly wrong. Plus, you have all of these "Experts" showing up at the scene.
This is a tragic story of a young kid who had a lot going for him. If anything, this story teaches us to respect and appreciate the "present moment" rather than looking ahead or behind. Rather be in the now rather than the later or yesterday.....seems like this kid lived that way. Such a shame..my heart goes out to his friends and families.

Ironically, the picture on the front page of the site before I clicked on this link was of a guy buildering. :? A tragic story... my condolences to his family and friends.

It's sad... but 1 AM come on - now even I the person who seems to not have much common sence doesn't not scurry up a buildering problem that early in morning.... and was his base for the power? I've known that you need a base to get electrified. Maybe science is changing and I don't know it...

I know ill get flamed for my insensitve and callous remarks but this guy is a shoe in for a darwin awards nomination. And the excerpt: "While Miller may have had a couple of beers before his climb, investigators don't think alcohol was a factor in the accident, Ambrose said." may very well be one of the bigger understatements of the whole article. DUH!
Ive always understood that the wires that hang from the big poles are not good things to touch, unless of course youre a bird and can avoid touching two at once, or obviously touching one while being grounded.
Condolences to his friends and family, it was just his time to go.
