ok guys, I am for sure going to rocktober fest, and I think the place to meet would be my house (Indy) since its actually on the way to RRG. I havent talked to greenspace but I imagine that he will ride down with me. And Im assuming that mowz (and his porkloin sandwiches) and organic will meet us here (Indy) too. I can and want to leave on Friday the 10th, I can take the whole day off so its up to you guys to decide what time we can leave. I will probably be bringing Corona Extra (beer snobs) but im sure ill drink almost anything once im drunk. As for the girls sure there will be a few hot-ts there, especially GAINSVILLE, right mowz! Also if anyone wants to meet us in Indy, like quickclips and his friends, just let us know and we can start coordinating things. With that said im still unsure about the weekend of the 19th for DL, I still need to figure what is up with that. Eric

Gainesville in the hizzzouse because she just wanted mizzzouwzz. Anyways I dunno when I will be able to climb I really really wanted to head back to the gorge so if either that is the one I am gunning for the most. Just finished up my paper on poverty wooohoo I love poverty(says in the monotone unenthusiastic voice) BTW I volunteered at Ironman in wisconsin with my girlfriend and I handed the first place guy his gear BAG! BOOYAH! This chubby dude handed him the wrong bag so he stop and in I jump, voila! The TV camera is right on us, I felt bad for chubby dude but the handoff was sweet it probably looked so cool with him turned around and all to face me, him reaching, I'm reaching the anguish on our faces, him sneering at chubby guy and finally chubby guy chasing him out of the room thinking I gave him the wrong bag!!! Anyways heh, to sleep, then school, then work.

Ok guys A few things: Sept 19-21 I already got a camp site at Green Valley Camp Ground. Kay is awesome and hooked us up with a big site in back. $6/night plus wood. When you come in drive over the field toward teh back and thats our site. There is already a midwest gathering/party forum on it so you can look more up there. Rocktoberfest: I've got a few other guys who want to go so I think we're going to drive down, but I'm not sure when. I for sure have to work at least a half day and I'm in Oshkosh (an hour N. of Milwaukee). So it might take me a little longer, climbingspaz and I will haul some arse! This Saturday and Sunday (13+14th) I've got a doc appt in milwaukee (allergies blow) and then I'll be heading to the lake. I'm meeting Dancingmaddlybackwards, climbingspaz, and a few others there. We're staying at green valley and everyone is welcome. If you want to join us, just as Kay, the lady on the golf cart, where she put Chris, and you can join me. See you all soon! Chris (the big guy who racked himself on the slack-line) and YES THAT HURT!!!

Lol. So, Gainsville is into the Mizzouzz, huh? I'm telling ya..... Ok, gotta go cry into the pillow cuz no one wants to hire me.......

Hey Midwest People, Anyone have any beta on EAC? The bouldering cave looks enticing... Mowz, go for Galyans! And, I got this great book entitled "Great Jobs for Bio Majors". Maybe it'd be helpful. Does anyone climb at Libertyville Sports Complex? Always looking for more people to climb with there... =) Climb on. jenn

just a quick question...why do you guys like green valley so much? yes, it's good in a pinch, when the dl campgrounds are full. it's one of the most expensive campgrounds! 6 dollars a person!?!? dl campground is 10 bucks per site, 6 people per site. hmph. and the toilets don't smell half as bad. no rv's either.

Yeah it is quite expensive I was wondering the same thing. You can even reserve campsites online for D's Lake just make sure it is 2 days in advance. I just arived home from climbing with sonus at VE and tuesdays is now only $10 if you have a job, they say you need to show a paystub but they didn't ask me for one I didn't even know about it till later, I think it is just a gimmick and they let everyone in for $10. I climbed for about 6 hours! i need to train hard I want to be able to lead some 10's at RRG when we go in oct.

If you wanna see expensive, stay at Wheelers. Sure they have a game room and flush toilets and showers and camp sites that smell of chocolate and trees that bear climbing gear in the spring, but i really don't think it's worth the price. $10/person is excessive. For that price, my tent ought to pitch itself and read me a bed time story! Although, they do have a little gear shop and it's closer than the one in Baraboo in case you happen to forget something critical. And while you're at the gear shop, you can check out their fine selection of skateboards and skateboard parts.

Not this Friday, Greenspace. I meant the Friday during the Rocktoberfest thingy in RRG. Silly rabbit. Although, I don't have a job so maybe I can come down to Ball to party. Any house parties going on there? Sportster, is that Friday good for you? The friday of the Rocktoberfest? We can decide on a place to meet up and stuff. Unless I meant next Friday for the Sept. DL trip. Ugh. Keeping up with all the going ons in this place is killing me. Can you PM me about whether you can go to the DL trip? Ericka, why do you build me up (build me up), buttercup, (buttercup), well you know the rest. Organic, stop teasing me with the $10 only if you have a job thing. You know I'm a professional channel surfer. I'm off to the local Galyans to get a job. Erickaclimbstoo, I'm using you as a reference. Here I come $5.15/hour!!!!!!! I will update all the current events this Sunday, as I have been doing for the last 2 weeks. Maybe this will be the longest existing post in the future.

Ok, I still haven't left for the job yet but I wanted to bring something up. I know it might be a bit early and it probably won't happen till after Rock fest but here I go: Who wants to go to So. Ill? I have topos and directions. I also have Matza and Goober. For those of you who don't know or remember, Goober is this jar of peanut butter AND jelly already mixed for you so instead of 2 jars, you only have to buy one. Amazing what the brain can think of. So, Southern Il sound good? I have buddies that go to school at ISU so we can chill there and party before and after the climbing. Come on! Who's ready to go?! Cuz Goober is. I will also be changing my signature soon. Who has suggestions? Jen: missing ya.

I posted this in the gathering thread for the september gathering at DL, but I thought I'd post here too.. I'm checkin to see if I could tag along with someone on the way there, not the way back though. I'm meeting a friend there either sunday night (21st) or monday morning, and he's local to me which means he'd drive me back.. But if I can get a hitch out there with someone who has the room for me and my junk, then I'd love to go to DL earlier and party/climb with you all. I live bout 10 minutes off 90 near Elgin, on the way to DL :) I'm really trying to avoid renting a car - my current car just sucks, and my hot rod is outta commission for the rest of the summer :-( I'll be happy to chip in for gas or whatever.

OK here is my problem... I work Oct 10th until 10pm but really want to go to the gorge would mowz and maybe the Indiana folk be willing to wait till then to leave? Mowz could meet me at my house at 10:45 or 11pm and we could be in indy by like 1-1:30 and be at the gorge by about 5am no later. If thats too harsh for you guys poop, i will have to find another way down if i can!!
