These are two posts from two seperate threads, one of which involved this exact same topic. I saved them, cause they were nice, but I don't remember who said them. A forum search might turn it up.... ;)

You know you're addicted to climbing... "When you come home from your 23rd straight day of climbing (I love living in Colorado) and explain to your wife at the dinner table how you were "Crankin' a mono with my left hand, half-pad, two finger crimp with my right, dime ledge for my left foot, smear for my right and decided to dyno to a jug 3 1/2 feet up on a 18-foot run-out, with an iffy last piece" and your 5-year old daughter replies "So did you stick it dad?"

"dude, you gotta deadpoint from this mankous tweaker to a hideous half pad crimper, fire in some pro, lieback the chossy expando flake, the whole time feeling like you're gonna pitch, sketch for the slopey rail, press out the mantle , get a knee scum, crank the crystal, smear the nubbin, don't grease and you're on the next bucket for a good shake and a sweet nut placement."

Overheard this at a party, during one of those sudden lulls. Thankfully about half of us were Squamish climbers and could clear things up for the other half:

"Hey, I was Fisting the Beaver today! (...Check out my hands!)"

Of course, climbs often get perverted names that are even funnier when used in a sentence... Hmm, that could be the start of a whole other thread!
