hey top roper, :D the best rock climbing in india is found in the south. Travel to Bangalore .Around this city are many long sport climbs, mind blowing bouldering and further north of blore, if u go to Hampi and Badami, theres plenty more. Chris sharma was here last winter and many others. My names Venky and u can write to me on venkateshm@yahoo.com. my id on rc.com is Hanuman...sure write back and i can help u out with more information. The sport climb grades here go from french 6a to 7b. Rock is granite and can be quite sharp. ciao...:) hanuman

Hi, There is plenty of climbing opportunity available here in India, depending on where your going to be located. Just make sure to carry your own equipment, as good equipment may or may not be available here. You can contact me for more information or visit www.himalayanclub.com Sanjay
