this past friday a small team of norsk operatives preformed a surgical recon strike at an unsussed area near Moore's Wall, N.C. After much bushwhackery, they located their prime objective: BOLDERS. One gniess steep highball wall with some cool hieball-lookin' lines, and a smaller but fiercer wall that yielded two quality probs...K. was vieing for an F.A. on the hieball wall, got up "hie", pulled on an egg knob, and sailed off into the trees with the knob flying off also...the line went shortly after that, despite the topout being guarded by a "threat matrix" of large white quartz crystals that had to be pulled on... "robbed by the knob" V2ish...there are several other quality lines to be done on that wall as well...on the other wall, the prize was "as if" a 35 degree steep section of lunges, crimps, slopers, sketchy feet, and a blind faith move to the top...it's V4+ish...to it's left, K. found another steep line w/ slightly better holds...special k. V3ish...the norsk team failed to fully locate all objectives -another recon mission will be necessary to fully secure the area . over. n.a.

A recon sortie from a few years back revealed a nice cluster that contains the classic Never Say Die. Its at the extreme eastern flank of Cook's; kinda near Wolf Rock but totally a part of Cook's Wall if you know what I mean. Keep the intelligence flowing! Out.

do you mean the toprope route on the slabby side of the "grandstand" boulder down below sentinel buttress? There are several lines up the slab, the harder ones are on the left.
