I recently heard of some sport climbing near the Hershey area up near some railroad spire. Apparently it's been bolted and has climbs ranging from 5.8 to 5.10. Does anyone know what this area is called or how to get there?

I didn't mean so much in Herhey, but near. Forinstance, Chickie's Rock is near Hershey, or at least near me... and I'm in Hershey... so... Sorry for my confusing logic. >_<

if you are going south on 230 toward elizabethtown, you make a right after you pass the getty station onto a industrial road. you take that all the way until it ends at a T intersection, turn left, make the next right. parking on the right immediatly after the RR tracks. walk along the tracks until you get to the ravine, roll down the ravine and the bridge spire is there. the bolted climbs are on the far side. yea i suppose that didnt make any sense....i guess what i meant was that it is worth a trip just to check it out......and see how worthless it is.

I'm just interested in doing some stuff that isn't Chickie's Rock for once. This would be another local place I could go down and climb for a couple hours. Realistically, I either have to go to Climbnasium or Chickie's if I want to climb.

If you are going to Etown you should skip the pillar and go to Governor's Stable for some nice bouldering
