Not about climbing exactly, but close...It is about Polar exploration, and i love it:

I stand corrected. It was Christopher Marlowe. For what it's worth, these lyrics have also been attributed to Shakespeare, who was born in the same year as Marlowe. There has even been speculation that Marlowe and Shakespeare were the same person, but I don't think that is a generally held belief. Perhaps someone with a better grasp of early English history could enlighten us on the specifics.
In any case, I think we can be pretty sure that Annie Lennox borrowed the lines.

This is from Marlowe's The passionate Shepherd to His Love
the poem actually starts off:
Come live with me and be my love,
and we will all the pleasure prove
That valleys, groves, hills and fields,
Woods, or steepy mountain yields
well according to my book for my english class this semester that is how it starts off. I guess I did learn something from my english comp 2 class huh.
