And now you even know of a place where you can get a "Dome Shine" from scantily clad females that don't look like sheep.

No need to thank me, Sir. Just doing my best to help a friend.

OK, this is getting abso-freaking-lutely ridiculous...

First, kcrag bails.

Then amber_chk.

This is going to be one big sausage fest, with Skibby as the only Ambassador of Estrogen, and she won't be able to climb or wield her whip, cause she hurt her finger trying to clean out Geo's colon... (or something like that.)

The heck with it... I'm gonna stay in Denver and go climbing at the gym. At least there will be hot chicks there.

OK, Amber... have fun in Moab and Vegas.

Just remember the REAL men... those bastions of masculinity... the very embodiment of "Solid Steel and Sex Appeal"... the men who know how to swing their tools... will be in Ouray.

Sweet Jeebus....smooth Porter home brew AND a giant mass of REAL hardmen all in one place with no ladies to keep them company? Okay, it's getting harder and harder to say no to coming out there. Still looking for a plane ticket under $150, that's my crux right now.

The beer's really good, too. I got to sample it this morning 'fore a bee-yew-tiful day at Horsetooth. It's not to be missed. Smooth, dark and semi-smoky, and just fine. Tasty stuff, Sandbag.

Where are you looking at flying in to? I have been checking all over. It seems that Grand Junction is the best option, but I don't know the best way to get down to Ouray. Give a look at Grand Junction.

NO!! You're the ultra sweet(and very attractive  ) mother figure...

The guys at the firehouse would say- "hey, check out the sexy old hide over there"- they are a smooth bunch....

I might know some Sales reps. in your age bracket who may or may not be at the fest and may or may not be single- I'll see what I can do.

Well, I just got back to the land of internet access, and found this 500+ post thread about another insano Colorado gathering.
:D :D :D

Unfortunately, a lack of planning/transportation/money means it's another gathering I won't be able to make it to.
:( :( :(

Which is really too bad, cause I just met somebody who can get me almost any tequila I want for $20.
I now am $40 poorer and own a bottle of Patron Anejo and a bottle of Herradura Anejo.

Well, maybe I'll save some for the next gathering...

jeesus, people ... i go off for two days of icy, frozen fun and come back to what appears to be a future 12-step program! sheesh!

by the way ... 25 below yesterday; 27 below today; and i'm headed out once again at 0200 for a climb in expected lows of 25-35 below zero.

My parental units told me they would give me the boot if i went. So who will pick me up in Montrose or Junk Town. That said this looks like the end of moms flight benefits. Anybody got a room for rent.

Attention amber-chk kcrag and any other ladies viewing this thread: Look into my eyes.... you are feeling sleeeeepy... sleeeeeepy...sleeeeeeeeeeeeepy...sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppp
...
...
Now... when I clap my hands you will awaken with renewed vigor to climb ICE. NOT sandstone cracks, or any other form of warmer fun. You will have a deep thirst for homebrewed Porter. You will crave the resonating THUNK of tools in good ice, you will have a strange urge to see men climbing condo walls wearing Hawaian shirts. You will be unexplicably, and profoundly, attracted to bald heads, handle bar mustaches, patagonia fleece, firemen, filthy jokes, and beer belching..... (pay me later fellas). You will find a way to come to Ouray.... no matter whaaaaaatt....
*clap-clap*

All the ladies I know won't come with me for one reason or another.

Nice Geo, thats pretty sweet. I love the fact that the dead climiber in the foreground doesnt even phase the expedition on this route. You rock!

And are you bringing beer too Elvis? Hot damn man, itll be a home brew shoot out. Im Brewing a bitter right now and it should be done just in time after the racking for the festival.
This will be fun, regardless if the Frauleine Contingent decides to pack it up and wither away to warmer and wimpier Conditions, Save Skibby, shes hard core, and makes a killer turkey tetrazinni.
Reno you have the Lasagna, I have the Beer, Ron is getting Cubans, Geo has the Bawdy, and Domina Estrogen has the whips. Were all set. The Ice festival will beg us back year after year once we set this new standard.
Upward onward and woohooo!
