I wish I could remember my exact time last year. It was either just under 4 hours or just under 5. But I drive fast lights and sirens or not.
Hell I even stopped to Pee alongside the road....and I saw this Sheriff's car off in alittle turn out. The windows were all steamed up and it was bouncing like a low rider with 16 switch's....hmmmm.

Yo, bro...

Did you get down to the Glendale fire the other day? I looked around for ya, but didn't see you. Big fire scene, though...

What route you take? I'm not sure which would be best for me: 70W to 50 to 550 (Interstate a large portion of the way,) or 285 to 24 to 50 to 550 (more direct routing.)

One more thing: Did you see a whip or ice axe through the steamed windows?

Christmas Eve was winding down; my oldest son (3 1/2 years old) had worn himself completely out with eager anticipation of the next morning’s booty and could barley muster the energy to lay out the cookies and milk for the evening's later visitor. It was then watching him in these moments that I decided my boy was finally of age to learn the true story of the jolly old man from the land of snow.

I walked him up to his bedroom, tucked him in tight, laid down beside him, and began “…A jollier soul never have you met, he wears a suit made of red and likes to get bent…”

The next morning, to my surprise, my son would not come out of his room. I went in to check on him, and he was wide awake huddled in a corner with his security “blankies” like a pile of forgotten laundry. The shear look of terror in his eye was unworthy of a child so young, his skin was white, and he appeared to be in a cold sweat.

Christmas came and went, and in the days since he’s has passed the time in an uninterrupted and utter state of trepidation and worry. He is wetting the bed at night, and refuses to eat.

I know many of my fellow RC.comers out there also have young children, and I only relate this story to you as a warning…The next time the Holidays are upon us, you may think little Johnny or Susie is ready for the story…but don’t be too sure. For the story of Geo Claws can never be rescinded or dispelled once it has been told….

LOL... Geo Claws? Now THAT'S funny.

Hey, Geo... mebbe you can get Raoula to be your "Missus Claws."

On a food/snack note, I'll be bringing a big ol' bag full of Mommareno's home made Chex Mix. This stuff is on par with manna from above. 14 days... two long weeks.

This is going to be fun. And remember the motto:

"What happens in Ouray, Stays in Ouray... unless it was really funny, in which case you are permitted -- Nay, required -- to post the pictures for all to see."

Do you have directions to Camp Debauchery...and, when is the earliest possible time of arrival?

Well, after a careful finance audit, I have discovered that I won't have enough money to attend the IceFest or the gathering. :(

I'll save some tequila for the next gathering, I promise.. ;)

Camp De-Botch location PMs are on their way. Check-in is traditionally 4 PM, and I'm leaving WP around 8 AM for that full 7-hour drive experience. Hopefully I'll be there by 2 or 3 and we can get an earlier checkin.

Please dont forget those of us that are just attending the dinners. Thanks, John

I just realized I'm the only woman in the condo. WOW, that's the kind of stuff most women just DREAM of!

In the interest of maintaining an orderly festival, I suggest the men line up in alphabetical order by name to spend quality time with Skibbs. It's not quantity, it's quality. That's what counts the most. Or so I've been told.

My true name is Aaron Adams.... The line starts here. :D

Skibby, hang on to the extra dinero, and get it back to me in Ouray.

Well, the second and third batches of Beer are brewing along nicely, and the climbing gear has been tried tested and evaluated, so lets get to OUray Already.
Geo thanks for the ski day up at Cooper, freshies always beats the snot out of sloughing seracs and avalanches on the ice. However, your spread eagle demonstrative show of affection(more on this at the festival, and i was uphill so i guess that would count as "on top" so im not gay...) was a rather interesting way to make me feel at home. You do get props for skiing with broken ribs, but im not buying the " i was guiding a client, blah blah blah , and then the rock hit me in the ribs.. blah blah blah.." part one bit. Next time you try to move up from mounting sheeplike animals to horses, be a little bit more careful, them hooves can kill ya!

I have a small but pertinent and rather poignant question: With Skibby being the lone woman of High and Classy Distinction, where, how and when can us lesser mortals at the end of the line ( real name: Zbigniew Zabrofsky) make do with some of the ice trollops that may wander by our loft accomodations? This Y chromosome dominated condo is starting to resemble a ship from the columbus Cruises(apologies and condolences to any offended Native Americans and their supporters) and hopefully the showers all work or may smell just about the same. But As Geo put it, " you're not gay if youre on top..." :D

Well, hope the rest of the peeps are ready to get high on the ice, ill be towing the beer along, its really amazing, and looking forward to some of Renos Magnificent Mountain Magic Lasagna.
