Yup, I concur, addicted, I'll get out of bed whilst going for a 3 am pee just to check if anything new and/or controversial has been posted. Sometimes I think it's in the hope that if I keep reading this site I'll pick something worthwhile up via osmosis, and will keep doing so. Unless of course my concentration of knowledge is higher than this site. That means I'm getting stupider by the minute! Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!! (Somehow from that response I don't think there's any chance of that occuring though....)

I'm curious what a AAA for rc.comaholics would do. Free roadside assistance when the van you've been sleeping in breaks down?

OK,OK, but WHY are you addicted? It's certainly not for the elevated level of literature available in the forums. I admit I have a mild case of rc-itis (check in 2-3 times a day at work). And it's like watching a train wreck. There is an abundance of abysmal spray in the forums, 92.5% of the writing is attrocious, many posters obviously have anger management issues and love to tee off on innocent people, prima donnas run rampant through the forums, and I see many of the same questions come up again and again ("What kind of shoes/rope/pro/jacket/underwear should I buy?") On the plus side, there is some good beta and I like the pics. So give a little thought: what is it that draws you back?

I am falling behind on deadlines, and my boss catches me on the site at least 3 times a day.... Its the closest thing I have to climbing - I can live vicariously through the ones who get to climb because they don't live here
