FYI CHP is going on a big speeding crackdown. Which for people like me who are driving all the time see a sign that says 75 mph it actually means 85 mph is okay. Be more careful now  ! Don't ruin a day at the crag with a speeding ticket on the way there. LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The California Highway Patrol is cracking down on speeders. The law enforcement agency announced today it will deploy "special enforcement teams" of officers to be on the lookout for motorists who break the speed limit. "Starting today, if you exceed the speed limit, you may as well leave your driver's license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance on the seat next to you because that's what the CHP officer who stops you is going to ask for," said CHP Border Division Chief "Skip" Carter. Carter said motorists have been driving faster and faster on roads and highways, causing more collisions. "We just cannot allow people to flaunt the law and endanger everyone else on the highway," Carter said. "It's time to bring things back under control." Throughout the state, CHP officers will use radar and in some areas aircraft to catch speeders, Carter said.

Doesn't sound like that police officer knows what he's talking about. A speed limit is a concept, its not a law.

In reply to: And while you're at it, get the feck out of the left lane, will ya. Can someone please explain to me the need for all Americans to drive in the left lane? You get over, you pass, you get back in the right line. The left lane is not for you to drive 65 mph with your gas-guzzline SUV talking on your cell phone. And, no we do not have a RIGHT to drive in the left lane. Its a privilege... a privilege that lasts exactly as long as it takes you to pass the guy in the right lane. sheesh... done venting now.

In reply to: "blah blah blah... The left lane is not for you to drive 65 mph with your gas-guzzline SUV talking on your cell phone...blah blah blah" No sh*t...If you're not going at least 80...you're in the WRONG F*CKING LANE!!! "I do a 100 on the highway... So if you do the speed limit Get the F*CK outta my way!" -Ludacris (Move B*tch...get out da way) LoL Of course now I'm in the land of Port...where the limit is 55...and most folks keep it at that or under...230 horses in my gaz-guzzlin SUV and I can't use it...damn damn damn Oh well...it'll give me time to talk on my cell phone. ;) (note: written in jest...so if you're offended...here's a quarter...take it...build a bridge with it...and get over it all ready!)
