I live in Victoria BC Canada and have been slacklineing for a while. ive made all my equipment and use just cheap rope i was wondering where i could get some better stuff. not online but at a store. Im new to victoria use to live on saltspring island and dont know anyone who can help me. thanks

Most climbing stores will stock everything you need to make a primitive slackline. If your looking for a pre-made slackline your local shop might have one from one of the makers on the shelf. I will throw this in though, you can usually find a better price online (for both the pre-made and the materials) - but it is always good to support your local shops as well so it's up to you on where you want to spend your money. I know that my company only sells directly to customers via the internet to keep costs (to the customer, not internally) down as much as possible. If it went though another level to the customer they would either have to raise the cost of the goods more than we sell to make a profit, or they'd have to a discount (which really means raise prices for everyone else) to level it out. Just my 2 cents.
