Regardless, if anyone ever gets in this area... hit me up!!!!! write me a E-mail!!! I love to climb, Altoona is between Pitt and State College, I mainly climb in state college. let you partner know that he needs to stand up for his rights. being p*ssy whiped is like being in prison. My partner has dumped several girls because they dont want him to climb as much as he does, more power to him. I am married and I have set some boundaries, with my wife, regarding my climbing time. I get to Yosemite every other week or more (10 trips this year, and countless local climbs). However when I am home, I make the best out of it for my wife and child. Needless to say that it can be worked out in most situations. Let him know that girls will come and go but a good partner is hard to find.

Ha Ha Ha!!! That's too funny. Man, I lost 3 girlfriends because of climbing. They just don't get it.

Hey, I'll be passing your way next weekend- not this one approaching, but the following. I'd love to climb that Saturday, if you're up for it. I dig Sport the most, but I'll top-rope with you too. Lemme know.

I'v lost more partners this way than I can count. But hey if they'r dumb enough to fall for that kind if loss of freedom then their better off not climbing anyway. Just keep you'r antennae out and another always seems to show up eager for the feel of sun-warmed rock.

Just make whipping noises around him, thats what I do to all my friends who bail on me for women, it happens alot. This way you get the satisfaction of humiliating him hehehe . I actually lost a gf because my friends told me I was whipped when I wanted to go skate, boy did she dump my ass (you know I went skating). Long story short, no relationship is worth changing your life style over, if she can't accept you for you, she aint the one. Period. [ This Message was edited by: old_school on 2002-05-10 23:09 ]

Man, I thought you meant that someone had been killed climbing! Maybe you should have used a slightly less morbid analogy in your subject. Yeah, I would not stay with a girl who insisted that I quit climbing. That's just bullshit.
