Four people and gear would be alittle much for my car but since I commute to Boulder 3 days a week if someone else wants to drive up sunday I would be all over that. Or we could take two cars cause I will probably have to leave around 2:00 - 2:30

CoClimber26 are you up for hitting the gym next week? Maybe tuesday?

I don’t have a problem driving either I have an extended cab F350 so gear space wouldn’t a prob. but if there is more than one person in the back seat it can kinda get uncomfortable on long drives.

Weather for the weekend from Weather.com

Sunny all weekend

Temps

Fri - 80 - perfect ELDO weather
Sat - 68 - semi-perfect Eldo Weather/great catslab weather
Sun - 58 - Potentially a little COOL for Eldo and better catslab weather

If we hadn't already made the plans - I'd opt to move the crags to

Saturday - ELDO
Sunday - Catslab

However - I know that isn't going to happen - just my two cents.

Anyone want to climb in Eldo this afternoon? Bring a headlamp if we do - it does get dark early - still. BRING ON DST!

Give me a buzz at 720-635-2825.

Is there any 5.8ish climbing in CCC? Looking it up suggests mostly 5.10+ I can make it to both, but I'd hate to go to CCC and not be able to put anything up.

To the Springs Cadre: I drive an S-10 Blazer, I can take 3 + me and gear, no problem, or we can just take two cars. I can leave whenever.

Is there a firm plan for Saturday? Looking for a partner for Eldo, CCC or maybe something on the Flatirons. I'd also be up for bouldering if that strikes yer fancy.

Safe and sane. Have rack and truck with room for 2 more from downtown Denver.

Hey coclimber26 I planned on going to the garden today as well. I'll probably be down at the snake pit around 5:00-5:30 (maybe earlier if I can get away from work sooner) I will have my dog (blue heeler) with me.

Plan for CCC on Saturday is to meet at 9:00 am at catslab, there are a couple of mod climbs (i.e. .4, .7 and some .9s). Should be a couple of newbies their and most folks have a date with Eldo on Sunday. Long story short, it should be a mellow group thing, all skill levels welcome.

Hope to see you out there,

KT

Hey, gang, have fun! Or funny! I'll be solamente in the peace and quiet of altitude, sans ropes, sans crowds, sans everything!

Okay, not meant to be a judgement, but I can't imagine trying to climb with 8 bazillion other people in Eldo on Sunday.

Or actually I can, which is why I'm heading for the b/c!

 SKibs

Have fun yourself, skibby. We'll come join you back there real soon. I keep looking at the peaks next to Long's and Mt. Meeker and the snow up there looks so pretty. Let us know how the weather is up there when you come back.

Denver to the Catslab - Anyone want to carpool?

I have room for one - I'm planning on going to the biker bar at the intersection of 6 and 70 after we climb. I feel the need for some "Soft Tail Ale" - if you are still game and want to hitch a ride in a Jeep - give me a buzz 720-635-2825. I'm going to arrive at the Catslab around 0900.

Man you guys are up early! I thought I was the only one who did that! No catslab for me - Eldo tommorow. Got 4 people coming from the Springs alone, and a fifth is interested when she gets back from vacation.

It's ALIVE!!!

Uh, it's not a good idea to switch party days the evening before the party. For the record, I prefer climbing in Eldo to CCC.
